The BID provides a town centre business crime reduction partnership which is supported by a town centre radio scheme. This scheme enables users to sign up to the scheme to receive extra focused support with security at business premises. The radio scheme currently has over 70 members and allows businesses to communicate in real-time to the BID security team. In addition to this the BID support members with security and health and safety programmes including free courses on first aid, fire marshal training, conflict management, etc.
