Ilford in Green Climate Change Action Day

We invite you to join our 2024 Ilford inGreen climate change action day from 11 am to 1 pm on the 12th of June 2024! The day will start with a photo opportunity with our community and business partners.

This will be followed by a litter-picking and gardening activity on Ilford High Road, Chadwick Road, and Clements Road. We will also have a wellbeing interactive session.

All tools and materials will be provided on-site, and the exercise will conclude with a final group photo. We will have a team of professional gardeners supervise the activity, coaches for litter-picking exercises, and facilitators to talk about wellbeing and recycling initiatives in the town centre.

On the day information;

• Meeting point – Exchange Ilford Shopping Centre Level 3 – The Loft

• 11 am to 11.15 am – Welcome, Introductions, and briefing which will include safety messages
• 11.15 am to 11.45 am – Interactive sustainability sessions
• 11.45 am to 12.00 pm – Litter picking tools distribution
• 12.00 pm to 1.10 pm – Litter picking, recycling, and gardening activity
• 1.10 pm to 1.15 pm – Photo opportunity, and closing
