Terms & Conditions
The competition is open to anyone who lives or works in Redbridge including children and young
people.
7 lucky winners will be selected to have their artwork displayed on our social media platforms and town
centre banners throughout the month of October to celebrate Black History Month.
How to enter
- You can enter via email to admin@ilfordbid.com
- We can accept drawings, collages, paintings and computer aided designs.
- Acceptable file formats include jpeg or PDF. You must be ready to provide the files in varying
dimensions and quality when requested to do so.
- Email your entries to admin@ilfordbid.com and include your name, age, social media handle, email
address & mobile number.
Competition rules
- Your work must be original and your own.
- Your email must provide confirmation that the work submitted is your own original work and
give authority to us to display your submission. Please state this explicitly or else your entry will
not count!
- Entries must be received by midnight on Friday 10th September 2021. No entries to the
competition will be accepted after the closing date.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason and we cannot
return any entries.
- There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
- Winners will be chosen by a panel selected by Ilford BID.
- The winners will be notified by email and/or phone within 7 days of the closing date.
- There is no monetary or voucher reward.
- Ilford BID’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her/their name in any publicity material.
- No inappropriate submissions will be accepted and all submissions must be suitable for public
display and child friendly.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions,
including the display of art works submitted.
- The Ilford BID is not responsible for any infringement on copyright or plagiarism. The
responsibility will sit firmly with the winners of the competition.
- Ilford BID is not responsible for the acts of any contestants or winners either in the past, present
or future.
- Ilford BID is not responsible for any costs related to the creation of submissions.
- Ilford BID accepts no responsibility for not being able to make contact with winners at the
contact details submitted within 7 days.
