National Hospitality Day Competition

National Hospitality Day is a nationwide celebration of our brilliant and resilient restaurants, hotels, pubs, and bars. On this amazing day in September, we are asking residents and consumers to come in and support your local businesses that have felt the severe impact of Covid-19. We are awarding a £100 prize for consumers to spend a minimum of £20 in selected businesses in Ilford.

Visit one of the local businesses from our list – Check the competition information below! Spend a minimum of £20. Take an image with a member of staff and add a comment. One lucky person will win £100 to spend at the business next time they visit!

Terms & Conditions

The competition is open to anyone who lives or works in Redbridge.1 lucky winner will be selected to win a £100 prize redeemable at the business you visited and supported on national hospitality day. The best comment and photo combination wins!

How to enter

1. You can enter via email to admin@ilfordbid.com
2. Provide an image of your receipt showing a spend of £20 minimum or more dated for the 18th of September.
3. Provide an image of yourself at the location with a member of staff with the logo or name of the business also displayed.
4. Acceptable file formats include jpeg or PDF.
5. Email your entries to admin@ilfordbid.com and include your name, age, social media handle, email address & mobile number.

Competition rules

1. You must visit one of the named businesses on our list below.
2. You must provide a receipt showing a minimum spend of £20 or more at the nominated business dated for the 18th of September.
3. You must provide a comment of up to 100 words stating why you chose to visit this business and name the staff member who served you.
4. You must inform a staff member of the reason for your visit and ask them to take a socially distanced image with you for submission, showing the logo or name of the business.
5. Entries must be received by midnight on Saturday 18th September 2021. No entries to the competition will be accepted after the closing date.
6. The prize will be redeemed in full for £100 worth of spend at the confirmed business and no redemption or balances will be paid in cash.
7. Any spend above £100 will be the responsibility of the winner.
8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason and we cannot return any entries.
9. Winners will be chosen by a panel selected by Ilford BID.
10. The winners will be notified by email and/or phone within 7 days of the closing date.
11. Ilford BID’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The winner agrees to the use of his/her/their name in any publicity material.
13. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions, including the display of artworks submitted.
14. Ilford BID is not responsible for the acts of any contestants or winners either in the past, present, or future.
15. Ilford BID is not responsible for any costs related to the competition including travel costs.
16. Ilford BID accepts no responsibility for not being able to make contact with winners at the contact details submitted within 7 days
